I was born and raised in the South Bay before moving to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development, I moved to Washington, DC where I worked as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research in the Social and Behavioral Sciences. My work primarily focused on coordinating and conducting research on our national educational system for the United States Department of Education.

I eventually returned to Southern California in order to obtain both my Master of Arts and Doctor of Psychology degrees at Pepperdine University. I have been fortunate enough to have received the highest level of training in my field, having worked and trained at some of the world's finest institutions, including the UCLA-Resnick Neuropsychiatric Institute, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Loyola Marymount College and Mount Saint Mary's College Student Psychological Services, as well as at the West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

However, psychotherapy is both an art and science. It is through the combination of both quality training and the naturally intuitive skills of the therapist, coupled with an appropriate match of personality styles between therapist and client that creates an optimal level of success in treatment. With this in mind, it is my intent to provide exceptional service that blends both warmth and understanding with an informed knowledge of the most effective treatments available.
